Ticketing
Ticketing (Time & Attendance → Ticketing) lets you generate attendance and access tickets for employees or visitors. A ticketing program defines a time-banded activity at a site, and generating a ticket produces a printable PDF with a QR code that authorizes or records someone’s participation.
The area has three tabs:
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Generate Tickets (default) | See, search, generate, export, and manage tickets. |
| Programs | Define and manage ticketing programs. |
| Program Groups | Group programs together. |
Generating a ticket
Section titled “Generating a ticket”- Select Generate Ticket.
- Pick the Program, the Attendance Site, and give a required Reason.
- Choose who it’s for:
- Employee: search and select one or more people, each of whom gets their own ticket.
- Visitor: enter the number of visitors.
- Submit. You get a printable PDF named after the holder, for example
visitor-ticket-for-5.pdf, carrying the ticket’s QR code.
Managing tickets
Section titled “Managing tickets”Manage generated tickets by searching, filtering, and grouping records. Export the current view to Excel or PDF, edit ticket details, or delete tickets with confirmation. Each ticket retains its holder, program, assigned number, audience, generation details, and stated reason.
Programs
Section titled “Programs”A program is the reusable definition a ticket is built on: its name, description, time range, and whether it is restricted. A program carries its own Timezone, so its time range means the same thing wherever it is read.
- Restricted to schedule: the program only admits people who are on schedule at that time.
- Open: no schedule restriction.
Create programs with Add Program, then edit or delete them from each row.
Program groups
Section titled “Program groups”A program group bundles several programs so they can be managed together. Create one with Add Program Group; groups can be edited or deleted like programs.
