About Eban Admin

The Eban Register admin portal makes it possible to manage employees, attendance, leave, overtime, payroll, appraisals, and settings of an organization. It is built for HR administrators, payroll managers, team leads, and organization owners.

  • Manage employee records: profiles, employment terms, contracts, documents, bank details, dependents, qualifications, and more.
  • Run attendance: work schedules and shifts, devices and mobile clock-in, fixing missing or incorrect punches, and attendance reporting.
  • Manage leave and overtime: request workflows, configuration, balances, and reports.
  • Run payroll: salary structures, pay elements, contract plans, payroll processing, payslips, and statutory and bank reporting.
  • Manage performance appraisals: configuration, cycles, and reports.
  • View dashboards: workforce analytics and overviews for time and attendance, leave, appraisal, payroll, and scheduling.
  • Configure the organization itself: branches, departments, holidays, users and their access, notifications, devices, and more.
  • Track a full audit trail of actions and device activity.

A single Eban Register account can have access to more than one organization. This is useful for administrators who need to manage HR or payroll for several organizations.

After you sign in, you land on your organizations launcher, which lists the organizations you can access. If you belong to one organization only, Eban Register skips the launcher and opens it for you.

Each organization has its own data, settings, and users; nothing you do in one organization affects another. To move between organizations at any time, use the switch organization button in the sidebar.

HR and payroll staff work in the Admin dashboard. Employees use the Self Service portal for their own records.

For HR, payroll, and workspace staff who manage a specific organization. This is the product this help center covers.

For employees acting on their own records: submitting leave and overtime, requesting corrections, and viewing payslips.

What employees can see and do in Self Service is controlled by your organization; administrators set it under Settings.

Three things work together to decide what you can see and do in an organization:

  1. Your role: whether you manage the organization as the Owner or as an administrator with specific permissions.
  2. Your permissions: the actions you are allowed to take, such as viewing employee records or running payroll. Each permission has a data scope, which limits it to particular branches, departments, agencies, work groups, or units.
  3. Your organization’s subscriptions: a permission works only if the organization subscribes to the module that contains the feature.
